There is an auto cleaning function that runs the cutting heads in reverse in order to keep them clear of shred particles, and an indicator light letting you know when the heads need to be lubricated. There is also an optional self oiling system you can get to go with your FD 8600CC which makes the process all the more simple and hassle-free. Most impressive, however, is the on-board system that records usage info and can display it for technicians to make service calls easier.
5. Safety is always something to consider in a shredder, and the FD 8600CC delivers here as well. There is automatic shutoff when the bin door is open or the waste receptacle is full, and an auto reverse function helps prevent paper jams. The Formax FD 8500SC is a central-office shredder that is designed to see use from multiple users during a typical day. Here is a close look at some of what we consider to be the strengths and weaknesses of the FD 8500SC.
Strengths:
1. The FD 8500SC is a powerhouse of a shredder, featuring an AC-gear motor running at a speed of 33 feet per minute. It claims to have a sheet capacity of 22 pages a pass, and our testers found that it met that mark with relative ease (you may or may not quite get the same results, depending on your power supply, the thickness of the paper you are shredding, and the relative humidity in your geographical region). The cutting heads of the FD 8500SC are made of high quality solid steel, and are under manufacturer’s warranty for the life of the machine, which is something anyone can appreciate. We also liked that the feed opening is extra wide at 16 inches, and will handle the most common paper sizes, along with larger custom sizes such as green-bar computer paper.
2. We enjoyed the FD 8500SC’s user-friendly control panel which gave us the choice of manual operation or a very handy “walk away” mode that uses electronic sensors to start and stop the machine. That means you can simply place your documents in the feed opening and go on about your business. The panel is easy to read and understand so there is never any confusion as to what the operational mode of the machines is at any given time. Perhaps the best feature of all, however, is the load indicator that helps the user prevent overfeeding the machine.
3. It’s always important for a machine that is going to see use from a lot of different people that there be some safety features. We were impressed by what the FD 8500SC has to offer in that regard. There is automatic shut off if the feed bag is full or the bin door is open, and if there is an accidental paper overfeed, the motor switches into reverse mode automatically in order to prevent a paper jam. There’s also a self-contained circuit breaker to prevent electrical system overload.
4. All shredders cutting heads need periodic oiling and the FD 8500SC is smart enough to let you know when to do it. You can even purchase the optional oiling system, which makes the process as simple lowering a pump handle. The FD 8500SC also features a self-cleaning mode, which runs the machine in reverse for a short time to clear the heads of collected paper shavings. Also making maintenance easier is the FD 8500SC’s computer that records your usage info and can display it to service technicians.
Weaknesses:
1. The FD 8500SC is a powerful shredder, but it is important to note that it is, after all merely a level 2 strip cut machine, and thus does not offer you a very high level of document security. This is a great way to save money just by using your phone, and texting the same people.
What you’re going to soon find out is that you text the same people over, and over. If you get those people to get the same application as you, you’ll be able to get them to save money as well. It’s the same with your phone. Unless you’re a business, you really don’t have call the same people over, and over.

Since we are open source, we want all of our tools to be, too. What we are looking for is CAD software that we can feed into Blender (or the like) to do 3D modeling with. They want to just draw the parts, then feed them to the art people who will run them through the 3D modelers for videos, illustrations and such. TAG Heuer Wrist Watches - An Iconic Company

Tag Heuer is one of the most respected and well known makers of luxury watches. It has been at the forefront of watchmakers since the mid 1800’s. Tag Heuer is a division of LVMH a luxury goods company. Tag Heuer is a Swiss Luxury watchmaker of sports watches and chronographs founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer.
Edouard Heuer patented the first chronograph in 1882 and his first wristwatch in 1914. In 1916 Heuer introduced the micrograph; it was the first stopwatch to have accuracy to the 1/100th of a second. In 1932 Heuer created the Autavia, a dashboard timer to be used in automobiles and aviation aircraft. He later introduced chronographs for pilots and the triple chronograph. In 1950 Heuer created a watch for Abercrombie and Fitch, the Seafarer which could track the moon and the Autograph.
By 1958 Heuer created the eight day clock, the 12 hour stop watch, the split second timer, and the 60 minute stopwatch; these were all discontinued in the 1980’s. By the 1960’s Heuer starting concentrating on making watches and chronographs for the racing set, the race car drivers. By 1962 he had developed the first switch watch to make it into space; it was worn by an astronaut into space. It was used as a backup timer for the shuttle.
By 1969 the first automatic chronograph was created, the Autavia, Carrera and the Monaco. By 1975 Huere had created a chronosplit digital chronograph with Led and LCD display. The chronograph was powered by the Lemania 5100 movement. By the time 1985 rolled around TAG Heuer came into being, the Techniques d’avant Garde. Most of the Tag Heuer watches were created for sports.
In 1999 LVMH acquired Heuer watches and now they are the parent company for Tag Heuer watches. Tag Heuer has slowly become the watch for every sport and the watch of celebrities. The likes of Tiger Woods, Brad Pitt, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Maria Sharapova just to name a few have worn Tag Heuer watches.
